How to Create PDF Files with Freeware
The Portable Document Format (PDF) document type was created in 1993 by Adobe Systems to enable users to share documents. The PDF is independent of document creation software and operating system and may be viewed on any computer with a PDF reader installed. One positive attribute of the PDF document is that document integrity is preserved during the PDF creation process and the PDF document maintains the same look and feel as the original. Several freeware applications are available to create and read PDF documents.
