Instructions

  1. Directions

    • 1

Buy table tennis paddle rubber and glue from a sporting goods store or online retailer.

    • 2

Remove the old rubber from the paddle by applying an adhesive remover between the rubber and paddle. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Slowly remove the old rubber by pealing it away. Apply additional adhesive remover as necessary.

    • 3

Sandpaper off any leftover rubber and glue on your paddle. Wipe the paddle clean of dust.

    • 4

Spread a thin layer of glue on the rubber and the paddle. Let it dry to the point at which it's tacky to the touch.

    • 5

Lay the new rubber onto the paddle. Using a rolling pin or bottle, roll the rubber back and forth to make sure it is secure on the paddle and that there are no bubbles.

    • 6

Trim any extra rubber with the knife or scissors, and repeat these steps on the other side.
