Wendel's Herbs are health products that are specially formulated for dogs and horses. They are made from all-natural ingredients and are used to stop itch, to influence mood, and to cleanse from the inside out. If your horse has a skin irritation that won't go away, you can try a variety of anti-itch remedies from Wendel's Herbs. Some are in herbal/supplement form, and others are in liquid form. Horses may itch for a variety of reasons, and many of them are dietary related. Food allergies, environmental allergies, and stress can make a horse break out with irritable skin.

Instructions

  1. Stop the Itch

    • 1

After assessing your horse and discovering a skin irritation, go to Wendel's Herbs' website and order the Stop Itch product or Special Stop Itch if your horse is especially sensitive.

You should also order Tea Tree Cream to apply topically.

    • 2

Put two or three scoops of Stop Itch or Special Stop Itch into your horse's food every day. It contains quality herbs, such as burdock root, garlic, marigold, nettles, and seaweed, that will sooth the digestive system and cure any skin irritations. A full container of Stop Itch will last about one month.

    • 3

After giving your horse the Stop Itch proprietary blend, rub some Tea Tree Cream on any areas of the horse's skin that have visible irritation. This product contains soothing ingredients such as mineral oil, oleic acid, and melaleuca, among others.

    • 4

Purchase Liquid Stop Itch as an alternative to the Stop Itch or Special Stop Itch product. It has the same ingredients, but it comes in a liquid form that tastes better and digests better. Adult horses can take up to 40 ml daily of Liquid Stop Itch.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pay close attention to the serving size recommended. Smaller horses and yearlings should get about half the average dosage.

  • Ask your veterinarian about whether your horse may benefit from using Wendel's Herbs to stop itching.
