Instructions

    • 1

Mop your floor with a clean, brand new sponge mop each time. Use a commercial neutral stone cleaner rather than water, as tap water may contain chlorine or other minerals that can damage your marble.

    • 2

Change cleaning solution frequently. Do not mop with old mop water or an old mop head. Mop in sections and change your solution whenever the bucket becomes cloudy.

    • 3

Remove streaks by dipping a clean cloth or chamois in a solution of 3 tbsp. baking soda and 1 qt. warm water. Allow to air dry for two hours and then rinse and dry with a towel.

    • 4

Crush chalk into a fine powder. Dampen a cloth and dip in chalk powder. Wipe marble in long, overlapping strokes. Rinse with clean, damp cloth and dry completely to restore shine.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use coasters to prevent water rings from forming.

  • Never use a broom on your marble. Instead, use a dust mop to prevent scratching the floor.
