1
Create your invitations. During the design phase for your invitations, also create a small reply card that your guests can use to communicate their RSVP. Doing it at the same time makes it easier to ensure that the reply card is in the same style as the rest of the invitation as far as font, size, visual layout and any graphic design.

2
Choose a mailing method. Decide whether to include a small envelope along with the reply card or to make the card mail-ready, like a postcard. Having an envelope is a fancier option, but this will create extra work and expense. Either way, print the return address on the envelope or in the proper position on the card for a postcard mailing.

3
Include the card in the envelope with the invitation. Either lay the reply card alongside the invitation, or fold it inside the invitation. The latter option will make it harder for people to accidentally fail to notice the card or forget about it.

4
Attach the reply card by creating a pocket on the invitation. For an extra-special touch, if your invitations are large enough, have them made with a small pocket containing the reply card.
-
5
Make the reply a cut-out piece from the rest of the invitation. To save mailing time and money on printing costs, consider making the reply card a small piece that your guests can cut out of the invitation card. Be sure to print clear cut-out lines to help them remove the small card, or consider getting it professionally perforated by your printer.
