1
Select a conservative wardrobe for your day in traffic court. Your appearance before a judge is a serious matter and your clothes must reflect this attitude. For men, a conservative wardrobe can consist of a suit with a tie, or a sports coat, long sleeve shirt with a collar, long trousers, and a belt or suspenders to keep them up. For women, items such as a business skirt or pants suit, a simple long dress, or a conservative top and slacks will suffice.

Stick to closed toed shoes only. Sandals or open toed heels should be avoided, and in some cases, may be prohibited when walking into the main court.
