How to Trap Mice with Glue
Glue traps are healthier for the environment than poison-baited traps, as children or pets may inadvertantly ingest the poison. In addition to their safety benefits, glue traps are easier to set than spring-loaded wooden traps. The only down side to a glue trap is disposing of a mouse that is still alive. Does this Spark an idea?

Quick and easy

1
Remove the protective cellophane from the glue trap by firmly pulling one corner down to the opposite corner. This exposes the glue surface of the trap.
-
2
Place the trap, glue side up, in a location known to be frequented by rodents. This will usually be against a wall or under the edge of a cabinet. You can also bait the trap with a small piece of cheese or a drop of peanut butter in the middle of the trap to make it more attractive to the mouse.

Dispose of the trap and mouse by picking up the edge of the trap. Fold it over the mouse to encase it in the glue. Place the trap into a plastic bag and throw into garbage. It is recommended you wear disposable gloves when handling the trap.

Tips & Warnings
The glue trap is also effective in traping centipedes and spiders.
If you need to "release" a pet or something from the trap, use baby oil to remove the glue.
Place the trap where you will not accidentally step in it or touch it. It is very hard to remove it from anything the glue touches.
Dispose of the used trap promptly.
