The eHow spammer. Better yet, the eHow spamming troll. The member that is too lazy or too dumb to work with their friend list properly.

You're an eHow member who has worked hard to cultivate your friend list. You read, rate and recommend. You follow the Terms of Service.

One evening, after publishing, reading and rating, you open your email and there it is... another spamming troll message.

"Oh, howdy, y'all. Please read and rate my new piece on HOW TO PUT NEW BATTERIES IN THE TV REMOTE. Thanxx bunches!".

Here are some tips to deal with the eHow spammer / troll.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    The reply note.

Send the troll/spammer a reply email that advises them that spamming violates the eHow terms of service, and that you are reporting the spammer's abuse.

Don't forget to close the note with, "Thanxx Bunches!" You may want to link them to this article.

  2. Step 2

    Report the abuse to eHow.

Click on the radio button that is to the left of the spam email message that says, "Report Abuse".

  3. Step 3

Drop the troll from your friend list.

Go to the spammer's profile and drop them from your friend list.
Keep writing, rating and recommending. Honest, hard work pays off.
