  2. Step 2

Towel dry your hair and be sure to "milk" your hair dry with your towel (grab your hair into a low ponytail formation while holding the towel and gently squeeze the towel and hair, then moving down your pony tail repeating the motion).

  3. Step 3

Gently comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb or hair pick. You can also use your fingers if you prefer.

Grab you favorite curling lotion that works to tame frizz and will smooth your hair such as "Curly Sexy Hair Curling Creme". Apply a small amount (follow the directions on your product bottle)into the palm of one hand and rub both of your palms together. Begin to apply the product from your hands into your hair by first making a sweeping motion into the lower 2/3 of your hair. Then begin to make a scrunching motion starting at the top of your hair working your way down.

For winter hair its important to blow dry the hair using a diffuser because you do not want to exit the home with wet hair when it's cold outside. Plus using a diffuser helps combat friz with the aid of your hair curl enhancing product since most products are heat-activated. It also will add volume and bounce to your hair.

Blow dry the hair with the diffuser attached in a fashion so that the diffuser and blow dryer are at a 180° and so that you are blow drying the hair straight up from the hair ends. As you hold the dryer gently scrunch the hair using the diffuser to scrunch the hair. Continue this motion until the hair has most of the moisture removed and is about 80% dry all over.

  7. Step 7

Style your hair using your fingers to shape how you want your bangs to lay out or you can pin them up or back if you don't want to wear a middle part.

  8. Step 8

An additional step is if you would like to give your bangs some style, you can gather your bangs and twist the ends, then push the hair forward in a way to add some height to the bangs section. Then pin back the bangs by using a hair pin to pin against the flow of the hair. This will give the hair pin staying power.
