Make Long Island Ice Tea Mix Recipe

If you're looking for a drink that will give you and your friends a nice buzz, long island ice tea mix is what you're looking for. This nice little concoction is one of my favorite drinks to serve at parties. I of course, don't drink alcohol myself, but my friends LOVE it when I mix up this bad boy! It contains light rum, gin, vodka, tequila and even some cola as well as other stuff.

Let's get started and I'll show you how to make it yourself.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Prepare the ingredients! Step 1 is to get the following ingredients ready:

    * 1/2 oz triple sec
    * 1/2 oz light rum
    * 1/2 oz gin
    * 1/2 oz vodka
    * 1/2 oz tequila
    * 1 oz sour mix
    * cola

    If you want, you can add a lemon wedge, but this optional and not mandatory for the flavor of the long island ice tea mix.

  2. Step 2

    Mix the drink! Add the sour mix and the spirits into an exotic glass with some ice. Take a spoon and stir the drink up until it is well blended. Get some coca cola and pour a bit into the mix to top it off.

    If you decided you wanted to add some lemon to the mix, go ahead and take a slice and garnish the drink with it.

  3. Step 3

    Serve the drink! The way you present it to your guests is a step in and of itself. Leaving a half slice of lemon on the edge of the glass or adding in a miniature umbrella is a nice touch. You may want to serve the drink with a side of cheese and crackers for a complete, amazing snack.

    Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy higher quality ingredients as it will boost the overall taste of your drink.
