How to Cook Apples on a George Foreman Grill

  • 1 lb apples, peeled and cored
  • Knife
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. butter, cubed (optional)
  • Plastic spatula included with grill

Instructions

      Place the grease-drip tray in front of the grill, shut the lid and begin preheating.

      Slice the apples into ½ inch slices.

      Lay the apple slices on the grill when the heating light shuts off, and sprinkle them with brown sugar or drizzle the maple syrup over them.

      Sprinkle the cubed butter over the apple slices.

      Close the lid of the grill and cook until the apple slices become tender and show grill marks, about 3 to 4 minutes total--the same as the cooking time for ½ inch thick pineapple slices.

      Remove the apple slices from the grill with the grill spatula and unplug the appliance.
