How to Delete a Yahoo Personals Profile
Yahoo Personals is a matchmaking service provided to Yahoo members that allows them to post online dating profiles after purchasing a subscription plan. If you found a relationship and don't require the services anymore or simply aren't happy with the results from the site, you can delete your profile. It isn't as simple as just pressing the delete button. You'll also have to manually cancel your payment option or you'll continue to be charged for services, even when your profile is taken down.

Log in to your Yahoo Personals profile with your Yahoo username and password.

Select the "Edit" link in the top right portion of the home page. Scroll up to the top right portion of the screen. Click on the "Delete My Profile" link. Select the confirmation link entitled "Yes, delete my profile."

Make sure you are still logged in to Yahoo. Click on "Account Info" and "Service Summary" (see Resources). Select the "Manager Service" link.

Select "Cancel Service." Fill out the Yahoo survey questions about why you are deleting your profile.

Click on the "Continue to Cancel" to confirm. Follow the prompts to verify your identity and payment information, then select the "Confirmation" link. Print out the screen that states the service was canceled for your records.

Tips & Warnings
If you continue to receive email notifications from Yahoo Personals, log in to your Yahoo email account, click on "Options" and unselect any checked boxes indicating you want email notifications.
Do not forget to check your credit card statement for the next one to two months to make sure Yahoo effectively canceled your payments.
