How to Fold Mini Trampolines

Mini trampolines are easy home exercise devices, and the fact they easily fold for storage behind a door or under a bed makes them convenient. They weigh about 25 pounds and, when unfolded, measure about 40 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall. Folding a mini trampoline is a straightforward process that takes only moments.

Things You'll Need

  • Couch (optional)

Instructions

    • 1

Flip the mini trampoline upside down so the legs are sticking up in the air.

    • 2

Place your feet on the edge of the frame, one on each side of a trampoline leg, and pull the leg straight up just enough to disconnect it. This end of the leg is hollow, allowing it to fit snugly onto its 1-inch leg base on the frame. Lay the leg flat (the leg will still be connected to the base by a spring so it will not roll or fall away) on the mini trampoline. Repeat for each of the six legs.

    • 3

Lift the nylon frame cover and locate the frame's two hinges, which will be on opposite sides of the circular, metal frame. Place your feet or knees on one half of the frame, close to but not touching the hinges.

    • 4

Grasp the opposite half of the frame and pull it up and toward you. Fold it over in half slowly, and remove your feet before folding all the way. In case you do not have enough upper body strength to execute this step, proceed to Step 5.

    • 5

Slide the trampoline a few inches under a couch or other heavy piece of furniture with low clearance off the floor. Then lift the exposed half of the trampoline until it is vertical. Pull the mini trampoline out from under the couch and finish folding.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using the couch method to fold the mini trampoline in half, you may want to place an old towel between the trampoline and the couch to protect the finish or fabric of the couch.

  • When disconnecting the trampoline legs from their base, beware pinching your fingers between the leg and the base.
