on 7/28/2006 When shaving Saanen goats, make sure that they have some sort of jacket so that they do not get sunburned!

on 6/30/2006 If you are clipping a show wether, don't shave it at all! You can get disqualified in some show rings for shaving past the knees and for shaving the whole tail. You should leave about two inches of the tip of the tail, not shaved, instead make the end look like a rectangle on the end of the tail. On the legs you need to stay half an inch about the joint, and level the hair of in a horizontal line.

on 3/8/2006 The tail should be shaved to. When you shave the tail it should look like a flag.
