How to Find an Internet Publication Date
Thanks to Google, it is easy to ascertain the publication date (the date when something was posted on the Internet) of any web article. Google will often provide it for you during a standard search, but not always. In these other cases, a few changes to your search settings will do the trick and provide the dates.

Go to www.google.com, and search for the article you wish to date.

Under the search bar, check on the left hand side of the desired link Usually the date will be in the first line listed underneath the underlined blue link. If not, continue to Step 3.

Select "Show Options" located under the Google search bar.

On the left hand side of the screen, click on "Specific date range" located under "Any Time."

Choose any date range, depending on how far back the article goes. This will now add the publication date to every Google link.
