Fall is the season to host some lovely holiday dinner parties. While rustling up some delicious homemade goodies for my guests on one fall occasion, I was contemplating what to serve my entrees and appetizers on. As I was rummaging around in my kitchen, I found some great items to display fabulous fall foods. Continue reading for some neat ideas that you can use--right from your own kitchen! Purchase cheese boards of all types for a great way to display fall appetizers and desserts.

Gather natural elements like wood, slate and stone for some great additions to your holiday table. I found some wood cutting boards that can be used to serve mini-appetizers and wooden bowls that would look great on the dining table. Pottery Barn is a good place to find some (see Resources below).

Display flatware on elegant vintage trays for buffet service. Pair golden flatware with a vintage gold tray; for a silver service, go with silver!

Display food on nature-inspired serving plates to bring fall onto your table. This gorgeous ceramic leaf-shaped dish is a great example, and you can also find matching appetizer and dipping leaf bowls at Pier1 Imports.
