How to Change a Marital Status in MySpace

Founded in 2003, MySpace is one of the most popular social networking sites. It allows users to set many features, including current relationships and Marital Status. If you've recently gotten engaged, married, or divorced, changing the Marital Status on your MySpace profile is a very easy thing to do. This change will be visible to any person who visits your page.

Instructions

1. Login to your MySpace account (see Resources).

2. Click the "Edit profile" link, located underneath the MySpace welcome banner next to the link to your page. This will take you to your custom account information and settings (such as Marital Status).

3. Press the "Details" tab in the settings navigation pane. This is located in between the "Basic Info" and "Schools" tabs.

4. Select the dropdown box next to "Marital Status." This is located at the very top of the section. You will have several options to choose from: Single, In a Relationship, Engaged, Married, Divorced, or Swinger.

5. Save your changes. Once you have selected your option, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Save Changes" button. Your modifications will now be saved and displayed on your MySpace page.
