How to Get Rid of Ringworm in 7 Days
Despite the name, ringworm is not caused by a worm at all, but instead by a fungus on the skin that causes a ringed rash. Ringworm is very contagious and is most often picked up in warm, moist areas like swimming pools, showers and locker rooms. With diligent treatment, it is possible to get rid of all the symptoms of ringworm within seven days; however, continued treatment is required even after the skin has cleared in order to prevent a new breakout.

3
Apply a thin layer of cream to the rash and extend at least half an inch beyond its border. Allow the cream to fully soak in before covering with clothing or touching it.

Do not skip doses or you will delay your healing time. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you are too close to the next dosage time, simply apply the cream at the next dosage time. Do not apply extra medicine to try to make up for the missed dose.

Continue treating the area even after the rash has cleared (within a week). Not doing so could cause a recurrence.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid ringworm in the first place by keeping your skin clean and dry, wearing loose-fitting clothing, keeping sandals on in communal showers and locker rooms and by not sharing sports equipment.
Your pet may be the culprit of your ringworm outbreak as well. Take your pet to the vet to be treated if it has patches of missing hair.
If your rash does not clear up with home treatment, seek out your doctor for a stronger prescription or different diagnosis.
