How to Get Things You Want for Christmas
Sometimes it's hard to get what you want for Christmas. Once the day is over, you might notice a pile of cheesy Christmas sweaters and other items you'll never use. Sure, it's more fun to give than to receive. However, it's also fun to receive, especially when you receive what you actually want. Help others get you what you really want for Christmas. It's easy and will make your holiday season brighter.

1
Make a wish list. Find what you want on Amazon.com and add it to your very own personalized wish list. Use the "Universal Wish List" option to add items from other websites to the list as well. Send a link to your wish list to your friends and family or post the wish list to your social networking page, like your Facebook page, so everyone can see exactly what you want.
-
2
Read magazines or catalogs with items you want advertised inside near family or friends. Casually point out things and say "look at that, I would like that." Be sure that they see what you're looking at. If the item is well-priced or you would need it for a specific trip or usage, tell them that also.

Complain about the old items you have when they aren't working correctly or complain about not having the item you want. For example, if you want a certain necklace, say "I wish I had a necklace to go with this blouse. I can't even wear this blouse because it just doesn't look right without a necklace."
-
4
Go shopping with friends or family near the holidays. While you're shopping for gifts for others, point out items you'd like as well. Be sure to walk by windows for stores you know have items you'd like and point those items out through the window.

Tips & Warnings
Don't sound greedy or rude; always hint casually like you don't really care.
