Facebook has an application called "Speed Dating 2.0" that allows members to meet each other online and quickly get to know each other before moving on to the next person.

Set up an account with Speed Dating 2.0 on Facebook. From your Facebook home page, type "Speed Dating" into the search box, and select "Applications" from the menu that appears with the results. Click on "Speed Dating 2.0"

Click "Go to the Application" from the fan page, and click "Join for Free."

Fill out the form with your personal information. Complete the steps that appear to build your profile.

Click on different tabs and buttons to discover tools and profile options that will suit your personality. Upload a photo of yourself so that you will be able to use the dating chat rooms.

Click on the tab "Rooms" to find a room to join. Enter ta room by clicking "Join Room."

Chat with up to five different people for five minutes each and discover your matches at the end of the session. You can then decide whether to contact those matches to get to know them further.
