How to Delete Your History in Google Chrome


Chrome is an Internet browser released by Google that offers a minimalist approach to browsing. One feature of Google Chrome is the ability to delete your history to increase performance and free up space.

  • Click "Start," "All Programs," "Google Chrome, "Google Chrome." Alternatively, you can click the "Start" orb and type "chrome" in the instant search box. Google Chrome appears in the list for you to choose.

  • Click the Wrench icon in the top-right corner of your screen.

  • Select "Clear browsing data..." from the pull-down menu. The "Clear Browsing Data" window opens.

  • Tick the "Clear Browsing History" check box and select the length of history you want to delete from the "Clear data from this period" pull-down menu. Your options include Last Day, Last Week, Last 4 Weeks and Everything.

  • Click the "Clear Browsing Data button."
