How to Convert WAV Music to CDA
WAV audio files are typically used on the computer as a way to listen to music. They were especially popular in the 1990s, before MP3 files became the preferred format for music. CDA files are audio files that work only on a compact disc. If you have WAV files you'd like to listen to on a CD player, you can convert them to the CDA format before burning them onto a CD.

Download software that can convert your WAV files to the CDA format. Try MP3 CD Converter or AVS Audio Converter. Once downloaded, install the software onto your computer by following the directions in the program.

Launch the converter software. On the main screen of your software, use the browse box to find and select the original WAV audio file you want to convert.

Choose the CDA format for conversion. Most programs that offer conversion will let you turn your WAV file into multiple formats. Choose CDA from the drop-down list.
