How to Change Password in Airlink


Airlink+ is a company that specializes in high technology products. Specifically, the company sells wireless networking devices, data communications and products for personal computers (PCs). As with any technology, sometimes the challenge is just gaining access. Accessing security options is straightforward with Airlink, but you will need a secure password that you can remember.

  • Enter your IP address in the address bar of your web browser (e.g., FireFox or Internet Explorer). The address bar is where the web address (i.e., "http://www...") is normally located. Entering your IP here will allow you to access the router settings. Should you need it, the default IP address is

  • Go to "Settings" and then select the "Administrative Settings" tab. In model RTW026 the default password is "admin." Model ASOHO4P has no default password, so the field will be blank. Enter your new password in the field, and then click "Finished."

  • Reset factory settings if you forgot your password. You can use a thin wire or paperclip to hold down the reset button. Hold the button down for at least 10 seconds in order for the system to reset, and then follow the procedure outlined above.

  • Create an encryption key. An encryption key is much like a password in Airlink. You can create your own encryption key when/if prompted. The key should use numbers from 0 to 9 and letters from A to F.
