How to Propagate Blue Gum Tree Seeds
Blue gum is among more than 800 typically evergreen species of eucalyptus trees. Blue gum trees are full leafed, but their shade is sparse and variegated because the leaves hang downward. Mature blue gum trees are towering and thirsty -- they can grow to more than 300 feet tall and a mature tree will consume more than 8 gallons a day. Because of their huge size, blue gum trees are seldom used in home gardens, but are suitable for parks and large commercial landscaped areas. Blue gum trees are easily started from seeds.
