How to Get Abilities on Neopets
Neopets is an online multiplayer world where virtual pet owners across the world come together to train, battle and care for their neopets. To prepare your neopet for battle, you can allow it to receive special abilities by having it blessed by bottled faeries. Bottled faeries can be purchased from the magic shop in Neopia Central, through the Shop Wizard or by browsing the trading post on Mystery Island.

Purchase a bottled faerie from the Magic Shop in Neopia Central, the Shop Wizard or from the trading post in Mystery Island. There are six available bottled faeries you can purchase: Earth, air, fire, water, dark and light. Each faerie gives your pet a different ability. The faeries cost around 3,000 neopoints each.

Go to your inventory and click on the bottled faerie. When the menu pops up, select "Bless" from the options and choose which pet you would like to bless. Blessing your pet teaches it a new ability.

Click the picture of your pet on the left-hand side of the screen. From the drop down menu select "View Abilities." Here you can see which abilities your pet has.
