How to Wear a Chin Strap Stetson Hat

Instructions

1. Place the hat on your head holding the front and back of the brim.

2. Position the hat comfortably on your head, either with the brow tilted upward, level or down over the eyes. A real cowboy wears a Stetson with the brow pointed forward, never at an angle to one side.

3. Slip the strap under your chin to a comfortable position, but not pressed against the throat.

4. Slide the bead or chin tube up the strap so that it rests against the underside of your chin. This helps prevent the hat from blowing off while riding or working in high winds.
