How to Make an LED Light for a RC Car

Stand out from the crowd when it comes to our RC cars. One of the more wanted cosmetic upgrades is to outfit your vehicle with an illumination system. There are kits for the front headlights, turn signals, brake lights and under the body. Then there is the unquestionable cool factor when driving around at dusk, or night, and seeing a multicolored streak go flying by. It's an enhancement that puts your RC vehicle ahead of the crowd.

Things You'll Need

• Led kit
• Drill

Instructions

1. Connect all wires and led's to the control board and power on. This will identify the colors of the led so you know where each on goes.

2. Drill holes in the body where the LEDs will be going.

3. Secure led's using the included holders. If multiple LEDs are going to the same location, twist the wires to ensure a neat fit.

4. Plug the LEDs into the controller.

5. Plug the power cable into the controller.

6. Secure the wires with zip ties and bases.
