- Old spatula or scoop
- Plastic container or old pot
- Latex gloves
- Paper towels
- Warm water
- Glass cleaner

Open the glass doors on your Lopi wood burning stove.

Dip out a 1/2 cup of wood ash from the stove with an old spatula or scoop. Place the ash in a plastic container or old pot. Wear latex gloves to keep the ash off your hands.

Wet two paper towels with warm water. The paper towels should be damp, not dripping with water.

Dip the wet paper towels in the container of wood ash.
