Facebook is a great website for social networking with family and friends. But besides the relationship building, online game playing, and status posting features of Facebook, I found out that there is something unusual you can do just for fun when you're on your Facebook page. By pressing the right sequence of keys on your computer's keyboard, you can produce flashing Magic Circles on your Facebook page! It serves no purpose but to entertain you for a few minutes, but hey, you might as well try it and see the magic for yourself! Here is How To See The Magic Circles On Facebook Using The Konami Code!

Things You'll Need

  • A Facebook Account
  • Just as an update,..., as of now, Facebook has disabled the Konami codes functionality on it's site! So, disregard the rest of this article for now. I will delete this step if and when it becomes activated again. Not sure why they would do that, but they did. Come on Facebook, let us have a little fun!

  • First, log into your Facebook account like you normally would. If you don't have an account, got to www.facebook.com and set one up. For many reasons, besides getting to see Magic Circles, you'll be glad you did.

There is a link to Facebook in the Resource section below.

  • After your Facebook page has loaded, input this sequence of keyboard presses on your computer, using your arrow keys:

Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, b, a, Enter key. Then the MAGIC CIRLCES will appear!

The circles will go away, but will reappear whenever you scroll the screen up or down.

This sequence of key presses is known as the Konami Code and causes different results when used within different websites or video games. The programmers at Facebook decided to incorporate the Konami Code into their website just for fun!

  • To stop the Magic Circles, or Magic Bubbles, from appearing (they can get annoying after a while), you have to reload your Facebook page (hit Refresh at the top of your browser), or log off.

It sounds strange, but it really works! Amaze your friends with this Facebook Trick!

Tips & Warnings

  • This is just for fun! But, try it and you will be amazed.
  • If it doesn't work at first, try it again, until you get the timing right on the keyboard sequence.
