Instructions

    • 1

Place the headboard against the wall with the front side facing you. Lean it against the wall so it supports itself.

    • 2

Attach each rail into the slots on the headboard, one at a time, so the finished side of the rail faces outward. Set the unattached end of the rails on the floor so they support the headboard.

    • 3

Take the footboard and stand it up so that it faces the headboard. Attach each rail, one at a time, into the slots on the footboard.

    • 4

Place the three slats inside the frame, resting each edge of the slat on the inside edge of the rail. These slats are very important because they help support the mattress and box spring. The slats should spaced evenly across the frame.

    • 5

Drill two screws into the top of each end of the slats, securing them to the rails. This will prevent the slats from moving, taking away support of the mattress and box spring.

    • 6

Place the box spring onto the frame first, facing upward. After the box spring is secure, place the mattress on top of the box spring.
