How to Use Adobe Lightroom to Create a Website
Lightroom is one of Adobe's latest tools for professional photographers. It was designed specifically as a way to make their workflow quicker and easier. Displaying photography on the web is essential to photographers' success. Lightroom makes creating web galleries simple. Use these galleries as standalone websites or incorporate them into a pre-existing website.

Select the photos. Select the "Library" tab in Lightroom. Then, choose the photos that you want to display in your website.

Select the template. Select the "Web" tab. Then, select a template from the "Template Browser" tree. Lightroom provides a variety of Flash and HTML templates. You can use one of the templates as is or adjust it for your website.

Adjust the gallery as desired. Navigate through the workflow on the right side of the Lightroom program to adjust the gallery for your website. At a minimum, you will want to change the site information. You can also adjust the way the web gallery appears by changing the color, the number of images displayed and the captions.

Export to website folder. Once the web gallery is ready to publish to the web, select the "Export" button. Save the web gallery in a memorable location. Use your FTP client to load the web gallery onto your server.
