Complete your clinical education. In order to get an LPN certificate you will be required to pass classes onsite in a hospital setting. This is known as the clinical education phase of your education. During this period you will work with patients directly under the supervision of a nursing instructor. Pay close attention to how to care for patients in order to pass the class and get your LPN certification.

Tips & Warnings

  • Attend full time if possible.

  • Study hard and try to maintain a high GPA. You may later want to return to complete course of study to become an RN or registered nurse. High grades will make that task easier.
