How to Make Kitchen Art

Kitchens are a bright and social room in the house, which means that the room decor can be as playful and creative as you like. Here are some ideas to make your own kitchen art.

1. Paint your own pictures; food makes a great muse. Run down to your nearest art store and paint your own kitchen art. Why pay for someone else's art when you're likely capable of creating something just as fun to look at? Get a little brave, and very creative, and make your own kitchen art decor.

2. Make your own wine rack and stock it up with your favorite wines; viola, kitchen art! Get a little more creative and colorful by adding artificial vines or maybe even some fake grapes!

3. Find a decorative glass bowl and place an arrangement of fruit in it; the colors look great and serve as a bit of healthy kitchen decor. Use it as a centerpiece and it will brighten the whole kitchen.

4. Tile your backsplash in a pattern. If you can find a decorative tile pattern that you like, the backsplash of your kitchen can be a good place to fit in a little decor.
