Twitter is the new rage. It seems that almost everyone has a twitter account. But how do you tweet in a way that isn't annoying or insulting. Can you use twitter responsibly? You don't want to end up being a twitter user that just drives all their followers crazy. Follow these steps to tweet your way to popularity and keep your followers!

1. When you tweet your followers are listening. So make sure you tweet things worth listening too! Don't tweet about every bathroom break you take or what you are eating for lunch. No one cares about that stuff. Save your tweets for something worthwhile and entertaining.

2. Keep in mind your twitter account is public. Don't tweet about your issues with your boss or the latest fight with your boyfriend. First we don't need to know your business like that and second do you really want to risk your boss or boyfriend getting a tweet talking about them. Not cool!

3. Also use discretion when you tweet about your whereabouts. You never know who may be following you and you can be putting yourself at risk. Never broadcast a minute by minute account of where you are. Safety has to be considered even when your tweeting away.
