Separate a ½-inch section right below the first section along the side of your face using a comb. Twist that piece away from your face and combine it with the first segment of hair.

Repeating this process all down the right side of your hairline until you get to your neck. Use a hair clip or bobby pin to hold the hair in place at the nape of your neck.

Begin the same process on the left side of the part, starting at the forehead, and continue twisting until you reach the nape of the neck.

5
Unclip the right side that you've already completed. Hold both the left and the right sides as two separate sections. Do not combine them!

6
Pull a ½-inch segment of hair from the right section and add it to the left section. Repeat this process by taking a ½-inch segment of hair from the left section and adding it to the right section.

Continue adding the ½-inch sections of hair to the opposite side all the way down to the end. Secure the braid with a hair elastic. Lightly spray with hairspray to catch any loose hairs, if you like.
