Things You'll Need:
- Google Adwords Campaign(s)
-
Step 1
Use a title that makes sense! If 'Gym Equipment' is your Adwords campaign keyword, don't use 'Gym Equipment' as the title. Instead, you could use 'Gym Equipment On Sale In Smyrna'. This way you have included the keyword, and have also highlighted the purpose of your Ad. You need targeted traffic, so don't come up with vague headers. Also, begin each word in the Ad title with a capital letter. Don't ever use upper case letters throughout the title.
-
Step 2
Next comes the sub-text of your Ad. Use the keywords about 2-4 more times. But don't spam this part of your Ad either. If it sounds too spammy, no one will bother clicking on your Ad.
-
Step 3
In the body of your Ad, tell people why they can't live without your product/service. Don't list features, like a product catalog. You need to make them aware of what makes your product different from the rest.
-
Step 4
Make use of statistics and numbers wherever possible. Write, 'Perfumes are priced $80 and up', instead of saying, 'Perfumes of various price ranges available'. Statistics and numbers give a clearer idea to the potential customers.
-
Step 5
If you are selling something, indicate the price in your Ad. You don't need freebie hunters. Remember, what you need is 'targeted traffic' and not 'traffic'.
-
Step 6
Run 2-3 Ads at the same time. Track the response of potential customers to these Ads and see, which Ad is doing better. Once the bad Ads expire, improve on the Ad that is already getting you several customers. Keep fine tuning your Ad campaign.
