Things You'll Need:

  • Firefox web-browser (check the versions before installing the add-ons); Following Add Ons: AutoCopy; Foxmarks/Xmarks; Screengrab; Gradient iBlu; Stumbleupon; WOT (Web of trust); Coolpreviews; Shareaho
  1. Step 1

AutoCopy- This is a fantastic FF Add-On that lets you copy text from webpages, automatically. You don't need to do Control+C. All you need to do is select the text that you want copied. Just by selecting the text from any webpage, it gets copied to the clipboard. To paste this text, you can either hit the middle mouse button or Control+V. But there is more to AutoCopy. It also automatically fixes wrap-broken URLs!

  2. Step 2

Foxmarks/Xmarks- Xmarks is an excellent Firefox Add-On, which helps organize and sync, bookmarks and passwords between browsers on different platforms. It helps separate cool everyday bookmarks from your work bookmarks, with great ease.

  3. Step 3

Screengrab- Screengrab helps save any web-page as an image file. Using Screengrab, you could save an image of the entire web-page, only the visible portion, a specific frame or a draggable selection. All you need to do is right-click to view the context menu. You see 'Screengrab' listed as one of the options. Just go to it, and that's it! So no more Printscreen and saving image as .jpeg file. This does the whole process for you, in one click.

  4. Step 4

Gradient iBlu- This Add-On can make your FF interface look ohh so good! It is a trendy, glossy, dark theme. It's a pleasant mixture of black and blue for your FF browser.

  5. Step 5

Skip Screen- This handy app allows you to actually bypass any impending countdown screen on file hosting sites like Rapid Share, Mega Upload and many others. If you’re a user who downloads regularly from any of these popular sources, then this add-on is certainly for you. Simply input the CAPTCHA provided (where applicable), and start downloading your file immediately.

  6. Step 6

Stumbleupon- This is a great Add-On for all those who have varied interests, want to get creative ideas, or have a hunger to learn something new. All you need to do is select check-boxes that interest you. It then shows you the sites from selected interests, which you would probably not have found by yourself.

  7. Step 7

WOT (Web of trust) - Use this Add-On to identify how good or bad a site is. With just one click, it let's you find out the ratings of the site and also, things like if the site is a scam, has adware, viruses etc. So protect your laptop and yourself by using WOT.

  8. Step 8

Coolpreviews- This Firefox Add-On allows you to check out what the site is all about, before you actually visit it. You can save a lot of browsing time using Coolpreviews. All you need to do is mouse over any link, and you can check out the content on a separate preview window. If you don't like what you see, you don't need to bother clicking that link.

  9. Step 9

Shareaholic- Shareaholic is the best link sharing and social bookmarking Add-On. Anyone who uses sites like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, Myspace, Digg etc, needs this Add-On! It helps access, share, email and bookmark any web-page with ease. Get this. Shareaholic has over 60 supported services and is 100% customizable.
