How to Make Money Online by Taking Surveys

Want to make some extra cash when you're bored? Do you find yourself surfing the web to kill time? Take a few online surveys and make some extra cash. Believe it or not, some surveys are actually fun, and most people enjoy expressing their opinion. You WILL make money at legitimate sites. You WON'T be able to make a living at it, but some extra scratch is always nice.

1. FIND ONLINE SURVEY COMPANIES. You can Google the term and find many results. Choose carefully, make sure the site is legitimate. Then sign up, fill out a profile, and start taking surveys when they email you opportunities. Most companies send you an email with a link to qualify for a survey. You click the link, fill out some demographic information, and if you meet the particular survey criteria you take the survey and get paid. It's that simple.

2. TRY OPINION OUTPOST. This is my favorite site. They provide plenty of survey opportunities (usually several per day) and pay cash (anywhere from $1 to $5 per survey). I've been with them less than a year, do not always respond to the opportunities they send me, and I've still made about $120. 3. TRY AMERICAN CONSUMER OPINION®. This site usually pays you well per survey, but I have found that they don't send me many opportunities; typically just a couple a month. Maybe you will get more opportunities then I do, I may not be in their preferred demographic.

4. TRY E-REWARDS. This site does not pay cash, but you do earn point to use toward magazine subscriptions, coupons, frequent flyer miles, and the like. The give you points every time you even try to qualify for a survey, and the points add up fast so that is nice. I do, however, still prefer cash.

5. GET PAID. After you accumulate a decent amount of cash with a company, you can request a check. They are usually mailed quick.

Tips & Warnings

• Your demographics will determine the number and types of survey's you qualify for.
• Surveys generally take about 10 to 20 minutes so make sure you have the time.
• Be sure to completely fill out your profile so you will get more survey opportunities.
• Go to a site like Survey Police to find more survey companies.
