How to Care for Ceramic Cooktops
Ceramic cooktops are strong, durable and attractive. They are not hard to clean but do need to be maintained every day if you want them to stay pristine. The care and cleaning of a ceramic cooktop is somewhat different from an electric or gas range; you should never use the same cleaners on one as you do with the other styles. Spread a small amount of cleaning solution on the cook top and rub it with a moist paper towel. Cover the entire surface and continue until the solution is completely wiped up. This should be done after every use, even if the cooktop doesn't look dirty.

Place a small drop of cleaning solution directly on any spills that may be on your ceramic cooktop. Rub the spot with moist paper towels until the spot is completely gone.

Treat larger spills and stubborn burnt-on items with the cleaning solution and a razor scraper. Hold the blade at a 30 degree angle and apply only a small amount of force as you scrape the cooktop.

Rub down the ceramic cooktop with cleaning solution and moist paper towels to remove any remaining dirt or food after scraping.

Tips & Warnings
While ceramic cook tops are hard and durable, they are not indestructible. Never use anything abrasive on the surface or it may become damaged and scratched.
