Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Fill the sink with warm distilled water. Since your tap water is what is causing the problem it's better to heat distilled water in the microwave or on the stove and pour it into the sink.

  2. Step 2

Add enough dish soap to make the water sudsy and a cup of white vinegar to the water in the sink.

  3. Step 3

Place the dishes in the water carefully making sure that they are completely submerged.

  4. Step 4

Allow the dishes to soak for 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Rinse the dishes with clean distilled water.

  6. Step 6

Dry the dishes with a clean soft dry towel.
