How to Put Ringtones on Cricket Phones

Cricket is a wireless cell phone carrier company that, unlike many carriers, does not lock you into a contract, but allows you to purchase its wireless service from month to month. In addition, Cricket offers plans similar to those of the leading cell phone companies, and it offers many of the same cell phones as well. Therefore, putting ringtones on Cricket phones consists of much the same process as putting ringtones on any cell phone.

Things You'll Need:

  • Cricket phone
  • Ringtone download text message
  1. Step 1

    Navigate a website that offers ringtones and locate a ringtone you would like to put on your Cricket phone. Browse by music category, or type the name of a specific song or artist into the ringtone search bar.

  2. Step 2

    Select the ringtone you want and customize it (if the option is offered) before inputting your cell phone number to have it sent to your phone via a text message.

  3. Step 3

    Open the text message sent to your Cricket phone and select the download link contained within it to save the ringtone to your Cricket phone.

Tips & Warnings
  • The text message containing your ringtone should arrive on your Cricket phone within 10 minutes.
  • Always beware of scammer websites when browsing for ringtones to put on your Cricket phone. Only download ringtones from reputable sites you trust.
