The new iPhone 3G S, although similar to the previous two models, offers one option the other two phones don't have: video recording capabilities. The phone can capture not only still pictures but also video and audio. Although it is possible to import the video onto a computer via a USB cable, you may want to present the content to individuals over a large television, in which case you need to connect the iPhone to the AV ports on the TV.
Things You'll Need
- RCA AV TV Cable Cord
Insert the RCA AV TV cable cord into the bottom port on the iPhone. The RCA cables (red, yellow and white) are the same cables you use to connect a standard definition audio and video devices together, such as a television and DVD player.
Plug the RCA AV cables into the "Video In" port on a television. Make sure the colors of the RCA AV cables match the ports on the television.
Turn on the television and adjust the picture to "Video."
Turn on the iPhone. On the TV screen you can see everything on the iPhone screen. Select the content you want to display on the television just as you would if the RCA AV TV cable cord wasn't connected.
