Word art is art using words and phrases. Some word art includes graphics; the focus of the presentation is on the shape, color and textures of the letters themselves. Word art has a number of applications. It can be used to decorate posters and flyers, notebook covers, and envelopes. One of the most popular uses of word art is in the world of scrapbooking. Word art can be hand drawn or computer generated. On a computer, one method is to visit one of the many websites offering free word art downloads.
