Give Your Desktop a Holiday Make-over
Seasons Greetings

When the holiday season draws near, you may want to get into the festive mood by jazzing up your desktop. Follow these steps to give your desktop a fresh holiday make-over.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Search the Internet for festive Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Year's themed graphics. Find winter themes, holiday icons, and colorful windows to capture the beauty of the season.

  2. Step 2

Save your newly found holiday photos in your pictures folder so that you can access them easily. Switch between several desktop backgrounds from your favorite collection. You may want to use personal photos from past holidays as desktop backgrounds.

  3. Step 3

Lastly, download and save animated holiday graphics to give your screen saver bright lights, a fireplace, candles, spiritual symbols, or a white snow shower. You could also create a holiday slide show. While you are decorating your desktop or laptop, you may want to download some holiday tunes as well.

  4. Step 4

Once you've finished giving your desktop a make-over, enjoy your new graphics. Happy Holidays!
