A simple, but yummy dish for almost any night. These lemon chicken breasts only takes a few minutes to prep and about 15 minutes to cook.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 chicken breast halves (5 oz each)
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp chopped parsley
  1. Step 1

    Add oil to the skillet and turn the stove on to medium-high heat.

  2. Step 2

    Pour the flour, salt, and pepper into a plastic bag and give a quick shake to mix. Add the chicken and shake to coat.

  3. Step 3

    Place chicken onto skillet and cook for about 3 minutes on one side.

  4. Step 4

    Turn the chicken over and cook for another 3 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Turn the heat down to medium and add the chicken broth, lemon juice, and parsley. Let the juices boil away and marinate the chicken for about 8 to 10 minutes. Make sure to turn the chicken occasionally to heat and season evenly.

  6. Step 6

    You can use this time to prepare the rest of your meal or start cleaning up. When the juice is almost gone, remove from heat and serve.

  7. Step 7

Tips & Warnings
  • The juices will prevent your chicken from drying out.
  • Larger chicken breasts might not cook thoroughly with this recipe. I recommend cutting them up into smaller pieces.
  • Do not eat the chicken if it appears undercooked.
