How to RENAME a File Folder on the Motorola DROID mobile phone

One of the first things that you will want to do with the Motorola DROID is organize your apps. This can be done easily with the use of Folders. The only problem is that all of the Folders are named FOLDER. Follow these easy steps to change the name of each folder.

Things You'll Need:

  • Motorola DROID
  1. Step 1

    First, make sure that you have at least one open space on your page. To create a folder, just press on an empty spot on the screen and then select Folder.

  2. Step 2

    Open the new Folder by pressing on it.

  3. Step 3

    At the top of the screen you will see an orange bar with the word Folder. Press on the orange bar for a couple of seconds.

  4. Step 4

    A new box will appear that will allow you to type in the new name of the folder.

  5. Step 5

    Click on the folder name bar and then type in the new Folder Name. When you are done, click OK.

  6. Step 6

    That's it. Your folder should now be shown on the screen with the New Name.
