  1. Clean Floor Grout

      Dampen the grout with water to keep the mold and mildew spores from becoming airborne as you clean.

      Scrub away loose mold and mildew with a medium-bristled brush. An old toothbrush works well for cleaning grout.

      Sweep up the mold or pick it up with paper towels and discard it in an outside trash can.

      Mix warm water and oxygen bleach together. Use the manufacturer’s instructions to guide you for ratio.

      Pour the solution onto the floor to fill the grout lines.

      Allow the solution to sit for 15 to 20 minutes to work on the grout.
