Love Johnny Depp Even More

If you love Johnny Depp, there are a million reasons why. What woman can say they don’t love him and still look into those piercing brown eyes that seem to just go right through you? It’s almost impossible to resist him in Benny and Joon playing Sam, the lovable eccentric who emulates Buster Keaton and falls in love with the mentally troubled Joon, played by Mary Stuart Masterson. When you sat in the theater and watched Johnny as the rakish Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, you knew you had to love a man that could make you laugh and be sexy at the same time. It’s easy to see how you can get a swooning crush on this playful and yet seductive swashbuckler. Yet even if these were not enough reasons and as much as Johnny is loved for what he does on screen, it is also the man he is off screen that can make you love him even more.

Step 1

Tragedy struck in January 2008, and the world lost Heath Ledger. Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell each filled in Heath Ledger's role of Tony in the film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Johnny joined the other two in donating his entire salary from the project to a fund for Heath’s daughter Matilda. He donated his salary and his time for Matilda’s well-being.
Step 2

It has also been reported that Johnny will come to the aid of Nicolas Cage as he is struggling with his recent financial troubles. He was allegedly upset to hear of his friend’s $6 million tax bill and has said he'll help. It seems that he will do so as repayment for the hand that Nicolas gave to Johnny many years ago when Johnny was trying to make it in Hollywood. Johnny feels that he owes a debt to Nicolas and he never forgot what Nicolas had done for him in the past. He would now like to repay him.
Step 3

Johnny is a supporter of the Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition, and can be seen wearing a bracelet that was designed by one of the children. The bracelet says “Life is a gift. Have fun.” Johnny is also supportive of the work done by Johnny’s Angels, a group that is dedicated to raising money for the charities that Johnny believes in and cares about. It is said that unlike many other actors and celebrities, Johnny is quiet about his involvement in and support of these charities.
