Celebrity makeup artists are often asked to cover up tattoos on their clients. Non-celebrities may want to cover up a tattoo for a job interview or perhaps a wedding. Do it yourself with a little makeup and some expert techniques. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Heavy concealer
  • Makeup sponge
  • Spray foundation
  • Translucent powder
  • Powder makeup brush

Instructions

    • 1

      Purchase a heavy concealer that matches your skin tone. Dab a bit of the thick concealer directly over the tattoo until you cannot see it.

      Rip a makeup sponge in half, then use the ripped sponge to blend the concealer. The sponge will blur any obvious lines of concealer.

    • 3

      Blot, do not rub, the concealer to blend it in well.

    • 4

      Gently mist spray foundation over the tattoo.

    • 5

      Using a large powder makeup brush, dust on an even coverage of translucent powder to seal the coverage and help the makeup stay in place.

  • Avoid touching the area of the tattoo.
