How to Clean Old Unfinished Marble Countertops

  1. Cleaning the Surface

      Clean any loose debris or dust from the surface of the countertop.

      Pour the stone cleaner into the spray bottle.

    • 3

      Test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous part of the countertop. If it stains or discolors the marble in any way, contact the manufacturer or retailer.

      Spray the stone cleaner liberally across the surface of the countertop.

    • 5

      Wipe the surface with the sponge in circular motions until the countertop is cleaned. Repeat as necessary.

  • For heavier soils and stains allow the cleaner to set for several minutes.
